it’s gone downhill…
Every time I visit Class*mates.com, there is less and less that’s available to non-Gold members. It’s pretty sad, really.
Back when I first signed up, a non-paying member could post on the message boards, see the link to a class*mate’s website if they posted it, see their photo if they posted it, and I think even send a message via class*mates to a friend if they were registered at the site.
Now, that’s all gone, you have to fork out what, almost $40 a year to be able to do all of that? Or $60 for two years. Still pretty lame. I know the place has to make a profit somehow, but c’mon. All we get now is the ability to see whether an old friend is registered, and a brief teaser about a few of them:
- Describe your political views: It depends on the issue
- Kind of pet(s) you have: Fish
- Country you live in today: UNITED STATES
- Highest Education Level: Some college
- How you stay in touch with school friends: Other
