Well, I did it. I unravelled the baby blanket.It was only 5 oz of yarn.
Baby blanket yarn, so it's relatively thin. Which means there's really a LOT of it.
The yarn ball I have now as a result is just huge. Maybe about the size of a small cantaloupe..
Then I started over. After casting on 146 stitches, the next six rows are purl.
For the sake of learning, I tried once again to do it the correct way... and I found that it's really not that difficult, in fact pretty easy. That doesn't mean I'm going to go the correct way with the critter blankie, because it will put two purled rows directly against one another and would look funky. No, I'll continue doing that one backwards until it's done. But for the baby blanket, I'll do it the correct way. :o)
