because of some pipeline between Phoenix & Tucson that has been shut down because of some rupture that happened at the end of July...
As I drove home from work tonight, I realized that I need to get gas, else I may not make it to work in the morning. I already knew that the
QT near my house was already out of gas as of Thursday night. The Circle K across the street was an unknown factor (at least to me), so I drove through its lot... nope, pumps closed, all out of gas. Hmm...
I decided to chance a two mile out-of-the-way trip to a Chevron in hopes they would have gas. They had regular unleaded only, which was fine by me, since I rarely use the premiums. But I shelled out $1.84/g for that stuff. Oye! And they think raising the prices is going to slow demand? C'mon, people. I drive 45 miles
one way to work, I'm going to need gas regardless of how much it costs. And I fill my tank so I don't have to stop every day to put in a few more bucks--I have better things to do with my time.
I just hope they fix the damn pipeline soon so these inflated prices stop rising, it's really getting out of hand.
That's all, folks...
